The PGMC awarded three (3) $1000 scholarships to deserving High School and College students in the Antelope Valley Union High School District (AVUHSD), AV College, and California State College systems in 2010 and (1) Scholarship in 2011.

We will be awarding between 1 to 3 scholarships again in 2011, the application is below. Remember you must be furthering your education in the Earth Science or related science fields, you must be recommended by a teacher at your school.

Club Activites Include:
Rockin’ Gem Roundup at the AV Fairgrounds in November
Classes & Workshops - Beading, and occasionally Wire Work
Presentation of earth science programs to schools.
Field Trips – Occasional rock hounding trips to various locations.
Visitors are always welcome at our meetings-- come by and join us.
